We were selected by the Connecticut State Department of Education to develop advertising campaigns for the Greater Hartford Regional School Choice Office (RSCO) to build awareness of public school choice and the annual online application period for Hartford Public Schools, Open Choice Schools, Magnet Schools, and Technical High Schools in Greater Hartford. The multilingual advertising campaigns, targeted to reach families with pre-kindergarten through high school-age children residing in specific zip codes in the region, included online, social media, email, radio, video, print, out-of-home (billboards, buses, and gas stations), and customized website content. Plus, flyers, posters, signage, display materials, and promotional items for School Choice Fairs. We also conducted market research and public relations activities surrounding the events. RSCO achieved greater engagement with families as a result of the campaigns, including increases in attendance at fairs and information centers, particularly among parents seeking assistance in choosing schools and completing applications for their children.
